  I have a severly worn hip and called the surgery for a referral to physio for crutches. i got an appointment the same day and asked the doctor for crutches - he said he would send a letter to physio for the use of crutches but also made an appointment for me to see a specialist to go through options of help. i waited a week and called physio they had no knowledge of this and had not received any notification - so i called the surgery the doctor was on holiday had not put this in his notes - but had put that i refused surgery - this is not the case i had never been offered or given the option of surgery - only the possible option of injections which i said would not be an option as you need someone to take you , bring you home and spend the night with you- which i do not have anyone to do this so is not possible - i still after 10 days have not heard anything and am struggling due to my severly worn hip and refusal of crutches this is a disgrace they disregard ptients and obviously do not care at all and through the whole process no one of them knows what the other is doing and cannot seem to follow through on patients complaints or questions or give a suitable answer.
